TERMS OF SERVICE

Effective date: August 6, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Attest Repair, software that auto and body shops (“Shops”) use to track vehicles, work orders, and repair status, including the portal a Shop’s own clients (“Clients”) use to look up the status of their vehicle. By accessing or using Attest Repair, a Shop and its staff agree to these Terms. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information.

1. Accounts & Access

Shop accounts are provisioned by a Attest Repair administrator or by an existing owner/admin at that Shop inviting additional staff. Staff are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under their account. Roles (owner, admin, employee) determine what a staff member can see and do within their Shop’s data — Shops are responsible for assigning roles appropriately.

Clients do not need an account to look up their own vehicle’s status; that lookup is scoped to records their Shop has entered and matched against the phone number and/or plate they submit.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Access or attempt to access another Shop’s data, or circumvent the access controls that scope each Shop’s data to that Shop.
  • Use Attest Repair to store or transmit unlawful content, or in a way that infringes the rights of others.
  • Probe, scan, or interfere with Attest Repair’s infrastructure, security, or availability, including by attempting to bypass rate limiting or authentication.
  • Share staff login credentials or invite links with anyone outside the intended recipient.
  • Use the service to send unsolicited communications unrelated to a Client’s own vehicle or work order.

3. Shop-Entered Data & Responsibility

A Shop is solely responsible for the accuracy of the Client, vehicle, and work-order information its staff enter, and for having the right to collect and store that information about its own Clients. Attest Repair acts as a data processor / service provider for that data on the Shop’s behalf and does not verify or vouch for its accuracy.

4. Service Availability & Changes

Attest Repair is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, and may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

5. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or pause a Shop’s access (including signing out its staff) if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, or as needed to protect the security or integrity of the service. A Shop may stop using Attest Repair at any time by contacting us to request account closure and data deletion, subject to the retention terms in our Privacy Policy.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Attest Repair disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Attest Repair is a record-keeping and status communication tool — it is not a substitute for a Shop’s own judgment about vehicle repairs or customer communications, and we are not responsible for decisions made based on data entered by Shop staff.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Attest Repair and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or business, arising out of or related to use of the service.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
